Found between Denver and Aurora, Cherry Creek State Park is frequented throughout the year because of its model airplane flying field, shooting range and swimming beach. Inside is an 880-acre lake where anglers try their hand at catching trout, lass, pike and other fish. Other recreational activities welcomed include picnicking, hiking, camping and sailing.
